Your friends are international players? Or you don’t have a battlenet account? Or your internet connection is too slow? GG client is a software that allows you and your friends to play LAN over the internet without or very minimal lag, plus its FREE. It offers different games which you can play with your friends like Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, Quake 3, Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike Source, Starcraft Broodwar and Dawn of War. And who could forget the ever most famous DOTA or Defense of the Ancient were alot of gamers are hooked on. Imagine around 2.4million registered users and around 50,000 online users daily, you can play all day and all night at home without spending money at internet cafes. GG client features the GG Tunnel which balances the high speed connections and the low speed ones and they also have GG TV where you can see live battle/ replay battles from different games. GG client is mostly used in cafes in the Philippines and home use for other countries. I, myself, use GG client to play with my friends since most of us have computers at home and its much cheaper than playing at a cafe. You can also join different hosted maps by other players. Its also a good way to download what are the maps that are being played so that you can share it with your friends. Although there are some people who quit the instant they die from the game, its still quite fun to play. My rating for GG client is a 8/10. I gave it a 8 cause they have limited games but i think in the future they’re gonna add more games.
