Plot: 200 pound beauty is story that revolves around Kang Han-na (played by Ah-jung Kim), a low esteem person, an overweight phone sex employee and a secret vocalist for Ammy, which as no talent whatsoever. She is also secretly inlove with her producer  Sang-jun (played by Jin-mo Ju). Ammy who is jealous of Han-na because of her talents and knowing that Han-na has a secret crush on Sang-jun decides to humiliate Han-na infront of everyone during the birthday party of Sang-jun. Han-na who is already been hurt by what happen, overheard Ammy and Sang-jun talking inside the bathroom that he is only using Han-na because of her talents and she shouldn’t pick on her because he has no feelings for her. upon hearing this Han-na decides to commit suicide but was stop when her phone rang and it was her customer who happens to be a top cosmetic surgeon. Han-na decides to proceed to surgery. Her first attempt was futile when the surgeon decline to operate on her, but with a little blackmail and a moving speech, he decided to proceed. After a year or so of recovery, Han-na came back with a name Jenny who is a Korean-American. She was amazed on how people treated her when she was now beautiful. She decided to go back to the music industry with the name Jenny. She was accepted immediately because of the relevance of her voice with Han-na. She decided to erase her past and live the future as Jenny, she burn all the pictures that she have with his friends, family. Romance between Jenny and Sang-Jun began to blossom and Han-na disguise as Jenny thought it might work, but during a date one night, Jenny slept at Sang-Jun’s place and Sang-Jun notice the tatoo that was inprinted on Jenny’s back and he thought to himself that he has seen the tatoo before, he also found the music sheet that Han-na used to own. There he knew about the identity of Jenny but decides to keep to himself. During a party, Ammy (who already knew that identity of Jenny) brought with her the father of Han-na. Desperate to hide her identity, she denies having any relation with her father. After the party Sang-Jun reveals to Jenny that he knows her real identity, after a few emotional statements, he is still willing to promote Jenny. On the day of the concert, Jenny who cannot take the pressure anymore reveals to everyone that she is fake. She told the crowd her true identity and who is it like to live as a famous person but lose everything that is precious from her. On the screen behind her shows who she really is before she got her surgery. The crowd who was moved by Han-na confession chanted "it’s okay". And she reunited with her friend and father. She decided to drop the name Jenny and proceed with the name Han-na. Which was a big success, she gained alot of fans and anti-fans. Although the relationship between her and Sang-Jun didn’t work out well, Sang-Jun now is the one who is trying to make the relationship work.

Comment: This movie is a really really good movie, i already forgot who long it was since a movie made me shed a tear. The combination of drama and comedy is well balance. It’s not your typical comdey/romance genre which is really funny on the 1st part and really tear jerking on the last part. Plus the original sound track of the movie "Maria", "Byul", and "Miss you soo much" is really nice.

This movie is really worth the watch and i’m giving it a 10/10 score.
